I am very interested in developing my art skills digitally, so I chose a New Media Arts minor. Throughout the courses, I learned to create visually engaging digital artwork, design interactive media, experiment with motion graphics, and integrate sound into multimedia projects. I also learned to build 3D worlds using Unity, New Art City, and A-Frame, incorporating CSS coding to enhance interactivity and design. This experience has allowed me to explore the intersection of technology and creativity, expanding my ability to craft immersive digital experiences.
Baruch Chinese Undergraduate Student Organization (CUSO)
As a member of CUSO, I collaborated with a diverse group of talented individuals to foster a strong community among Chinese students at Baruch. I contributed to designing WeChat blog posts and promotional posters, helping enhance engagement and communication. Additionally, I played a role in planning and organizing monthly activities, strengthening my event coordination, teamwork, and digital marketing skills.
Ascend
I was a member of Ascend’s Marketing Team, where I collaborated on branding and promotional efforts. I attended social networking events, resume workshops, and professional development sessions, which helped me connect with industry professionals and enhance my career readiness. Additionally, I learned to use Figma and Canva to design graphics, improving my ability to create visually compelling content for marketing campaigns.
